If you're reading this, you're likely looking for someone to help you
with professional writing or a communications program. Hopefully I've already answered any questions about my portfolio and
experience. But if we're going to work together, it's nice to know a little more about the person behind the website. So here are some of my life highlights. To date, obviously. Many more are anticipated.
Nothing too personal, just some of the events, traits and quirks that have formed me into the hard-working, integrity-driven,
fun loving albeit slightly sarcastic person that I am.
- Grew
up in a small town
- Backpacked through Europe at age 25
- Bought my first house at age 25
- Lived in
Las Vegas for 4 ½ years and loved it
- Once worked with Scotland Yard on a press event for former British Prime
Minister Margaret Thatcher
- Hiked to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite four times (most recently raising
$18K to fight breast cancer)
- One of my press releases was once picked up in the National Enquirer (not especially
proud of that)
- Boston Red Sox AND SF Giants fan
- News junkie, but I also religiously read the comics,
and I'm addicted to Sudoku
- Not afraid to fight an injustice and root for the underdog
- Helped kill the Jack
in the Box "Wasted" ad (at least I'd like to think I did)
- Wildly obsessed with the "6 Degrees of Separation"
concept - we're all connected
In my spare time, I'm a planner. I plan cocktail parties, family and class reunions,
surprise birthday parties, fundraising events, bridal and baby showers, anything that makes people feel special... and has
an end.
