Over the next several years, I worked my proverbial bottom off. I learned the ins and outs of the industry, mastered the basics and fine-tuned my strategic planning and problem solving skills. Eventually, I joined a public affairs and community relations firm, where I served clients at a senior manager level before going off on my own as a consultant. Through my various agency roles, I was involved in every aspect of campaign development from overall strategy to video production to media relations. Every aspect, that is, except graphic design. I leave that to the creative professionals (and I have several amazing designers I work with to provide a gorgeous final, printed project if that's what you need).
